Toastie: grilled cheese game

Apple’s top pick in Great Games on iPhone Duo. No Duo? It plays on any iPhone and iPad: build a grilled cheese, slide the lid shut, open it before it burns. Toastie turns your iPhone into a toaster. Make a grilled cheese sandwich from scratch: butter the bread, lay on the cheese and fillings, and put it in the toaster. Close the lid and it starts toasting in real time. Open it too early and the cheese hasn't melted; leave it too long and it burns. Take it out at the right moment and you get a perfect toastie. HOW IT WORKS • Butter the bread with your finger: cover the slice, on the right side. • Drag the cheese and fillings onto the bread and spread them out. • Hurry: customers are waiting. You have 15 seconds to build each order. • Press GRILL, close the lid, and wait for the sizzle. • Open it to check, or trust your timing, then serve. • Every sandwich gets a score card: recipe, plating, toasting and prep time. Five stars turn it gold. • Four stars unlock the next recipe. 10 RECIPES From a Classic Grilled Cheese and Cheese & Tomato to Brie & Cranberry, Kimchi, Mushroom & Taleggio, Pesto, Tomato & Gruyère and The Works. White sandwich loaf, sourdough and brioche, 14 real ingredients, each with its own recipe card. MADE FOR IPHONE DUO Toastie plays on any iPhone and iPad.
